Latest research published by eMarketer shows that UK internet usage is still on the rise with over 38 million of us now online (up from 36.8 million in 2007).  By stark contrast, the seemly chronic downward trend in newspaper circulation looks set to continue with many national daily newspapers recording steep falls in circulation during Sept ‘08 (-12% in the case of The Independent…ouch!).
