Practicing what we preach

Friday, May 30th, 2008 - Martin F

At pitches, there’s always lots of big agency talk about ‘really getting under the skin’ of the client. Which when you think about those actual words, is a bit scary. But, it is true that you can’t come up with great work if you don’t know your client.

With this mind, Claire, Rachel and Gemma headed off to Burger King to join their crew for a day. Relax, they were heavily supervised so that any food they produced was up to BK standards! They had a great day, pics are below and we’d like to thank everyone at Cannon Street for letting a bunch of account handlers cause chaos and a particular big thanks to Nana for excellent induction and Silvia for her limitless patience!

More love heading our way?

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 - Neil G

Following on from our success at the recent PPMA awards, our diversity campaign for Brighton & Hove City Council is firmly in the running for 2 more gongs at the upcoming CIPD Awards in Diversity and Innovation. In an exciting twist, it turns out that Brighton & Hove City Council is the only local authority to be shortlisted for the CIPD Awards.

The awards will take place on June 19th in Billingsgate, London.

Bring on the love CIPD. We can take it.

Victory is ours!

Friday, May 2nd, 2008 - Martin F

It was the PPMA awards last night back in Brighton & Hove. It’s always a nice feeling when you drive down towards the sea - very summery and lovely. Anyway, we were nominated for three - best children’s ad, best employer brand and best work to improve diversity all for Brighton & Hove City Council. It didn’t look like it was going to be our night when we didn’t win the first two but then we picked up the diversity award! It’s particularly satisfying because this is the third year in a row that we’ve won this category for this client. The work is in our case studies section if you’d like to take a look.

Continuing our victorious evening, I beat Satty in an arm wrestle in the taxi on the way home even though she tried to cheat and use both her arms.
